Integrated Production Manager

Boston, Massachusetts, United States MullenLowe Group Full time

We are champions of positive dissatisfaction.
Dissatisfied with the way it's always been,
with handcuffs and limits and rules,
with insights that aren't insightful,
and with creative that doesn't make you feel.
We believe dissatisfaction is the mother of reinvention.
That's why our mascot is the octopus.
It's the only organism on the planet that routinely edits its own genetic material
to adapt, innovate, and thrive.
It outsmarts the competition by constantly changing.
It reinvents, repeats, reinvents, repeats.
And so do we.
In a world where the most innovative brands grow faster than the competition,
we are, pound for pound, the most effective agency in the world. Eleven years running.
MullenLowe: Always Be a Challenger.

Position Overview

The Integrated Production Manager is the point person monitoring and connecting all the different workstreams across multiple lines of business that create assets and content for the agency's most cross-functioning, integrated, and multi-channel client.

In this role, the IPM will help keep all creative initiatives running smoothly and ensure our teams produce the best work possible as the foundational "glue" interfacing between producers, project managers, our production studio, and account teams. The IPM is the communication linchpin between all internal teams in working cross-discipline to ensure 1) the integration of timelines for each project are in sync and all key milestones are on track; 2) creative standards are maintained when sharing key assets to generate the varied deliverables (broadcast, digital, social, OOH, print, & website); and 3) that alignment is gained from all stakeholders. The IPM is a strategic thinker who is proactive in identifying project challenges and offering versatile solutions; and will analyze and promote that best-in-class production methods and processes are being utilized and employed to the benefit of all workstreams.

In short, the IPM ensures all our great work is happening across all our channels in the smartest and most collaborative way possible to hit all milestones.

The ideal candidate has worked in a creative environment and has led a broad range of creative asset production in their career. Additionally, they are process-oriented with a keen eye for flawless execution; excel at interpersonal relationship; and are confident in a client facing role. This position will require a background check of the candidate as the lead creative delivery person to the client network.

Additional responsibilities

  • Assists the Group Creative Director in assessing creative resource allocation, partnering with creative resource management when needs arise.
  • Liaises with senior production and project staff for the management of projects, timelines, and resource utilization.
  • Ongoing point of contact with the client for assets/material delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production-related experience delivering creative projects across broadcast, digital, and social media, with basic working knowledge of print production and website management.
  • Strong organizational skills required; detail-oriented; an ability to appropriately prioritize deliverables, multitask and recalibrate as circumstances change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Experience working with clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) required.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Agency experience a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

The salary range for this position is $90-$100K. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience and qualifications.

The work is never perfect, so how could we ask that of our applicants? What we do seek out at MullenLowe are original thinkers with a thing for unconventional ideas that solve tomorrow's big problems. Is that you? Check doubt at the door and apply for the roles that will excite and challenge you in new ways.
