The ideal candidate will be conscientious, prepared, and willing and able to follow the direction of the Executive Chef/Director of Food Service.

  • Responsible for serving food to students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a courteous and efficient manner, while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures daily, as well as special events.
  • Maintains and ensures all food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas, are kept clean and sanitized.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Set up and break down serving areas before and after mealtimes.
  • Performs dishwashing tasks to properly wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, flatware, glassware, utensils, cookware, and operate dish machine(s) according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Follow the directions of the Executive Chef/Director of Food Service to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive attitude while interacting with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
