Job Summary and QualificationsProvides medical assistance under the direction of licensed personnel. Coordinates clinic patient flow, patient work-ups, exam room prep, and performs basic patient care activities. Ensures quality and continuity of care by communicating patient care information to the appropriate parties.
What qualifications you will need:- Required Education: High School or GED
- Preferred Education: Associates Degree or Bachelors degree
- Required Experience: Patient care vital signs.
- Preferred Experience: Physician practice medical assisting experience, EKGs
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is a community hospital serving Macon, Jackson and the surrounding counties. Located between the towns of Highlands and Cashiers, the hospital offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as long-term care through Eckerd Living Center. Ambulatory services are also available, including therapy services and primary care.
