Buckingham Friends School seeks a new part-time K-3rd grade French teacher to start September This position includes responsibility for the curriculum and teaching of the kindergarten through 3rd grade French classes; working closely with and maintaining positive and effective relationships with the other world language and specials teachers; developing and implementing curriculum aligned to national standards; partnering and communicatin g regularly and effectively with parents; writing progress reports and maintaining student records; advancing the School's mission as a Friends school, aligning with the School's core values and philosophy, actively supporting the School's strategic plan; and assisting with admissions.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching French at the elementary level, the ability to differentiate instruction, a deep commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, & Belonging practices, and a demonstrated track record of contributing to their former school(s) and their future vision, community, and culture.

A Bachelor's Degree in education and French teaching experience preferred.
