Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing business groups within Corporate Audit and executing on personnel, communication, and expense management activities. Key responsibilities include planning and developing the audit strategy and managing audit services, influencing business executives, and helping business partners balance business strategy with risk management controls. Job expectations include working with senior leadership to develop Audit's coverage strategies, managing relationships with regulatory agencies and internal business management groups, and overseeing personnel issues.

Responsibilities:

Communicates Corporate Audit's mission, goals, and strategies, and the importance of operational effectiveness and drives continuous improvement while demonstrating a strategic mindset and leading and supporting changeOversees audit teams to ensure timely execution of the audit plan within quality standards and in conformance to audit policies and proceduresLeverages a risk mindset to proactively identify risks, analyze themes, and continually evaluate areas of priority against the company s risk profile and control environment Engages with senior leaders and influences business partners to balance business strategy with appropriate risk management controlsMaintains relationships with regulatory agencies and leadership teams by proactively driving communications and discussing audit resultsDevelops the audit coverage strategy and plan, assesses risks, and provides appropriate coverage for current and/or emerging risks for assigned areasManages team performance by training and mentoring, and attracts, develops, and retains a diverse workforce through talent planningSkills:Audit PlanningRegulatory RelationsRelationship BuildingRisk ManagementTalent DevelopmentCritical ThinkingProject ManagementStrategic ThinkingStrategy Planning and DevelopmentWritten CommunicationsExecutive PresenceFinancial ManagementInternal Audit ReviewWorkforce Diversity ManagementJob Description: Audit responsibilities for businesses or functional areas related to Financial Crimes. Develops the audit strategy for Financial Crimes including proper assessment and coverage of risks and emerging risks Oversees audit teams to ensure timely execution of the audit plan within quality standards and in conformance to audit policies and procedures Gets ahead of risks, identifies themes and continually evaluate areas of priority against the company s risk profile and control environment Promotes the use of innovative tools and technological elements to drive continuous coverage of Company risks Owns and communicates importance of operational effectiveness; drives continuous improvement Strategic engagement in governance routines, issue remediation / validation, and regulatory engagement Demonstrates and fosters critical thinking, strategic mindset; leads and drives change adoption Provides comprehensive assessment of key products; increases depth of testing for key products inclusive of applicable laws, rules, and regulations particularly BSA/AML and sanctions rules. Strong financial crimes background with focus on core BSA/AML compliance program requirements including transaction monitoring, investigations, risk assessment, etc. Provides a comprehensive horizontal view of risk specific to Financial Crimes Required Skills/ Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of experience with a specialization in BSA/AML and/or OFAC/Sanctions Expertise related to financial services/financial institution industry preferred. Strong engagement with external regulatory agencies Strong Audit or Risk Management background preferred but not required. Strong Project Management skills Critical thinking, collaborative and innovative Experience leading & driving change Experience in demonstrating and fostering critical and strategic thinking Experience leading a team Bachelor's Degree (Master s degree preferred but not required) Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40
