Your Role in the Spotlight:
As our Banquet Captain, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, ensuring every event is a smashing success. Your exciting responsibilities will include:
Leading the Charge: Supervise and inspire our amazing banquet staff to deliver top-notch service.Event Maestro: Plan and coordinate dining events, making sure every detail is perfect.
Guest Guru: Welcome guests with a smile, assist with seating, and ensure their requests and complaints are handled with grace.
Training Champion: Train and mentor staff to be the best in the business.
Setup Superstar: Oversee the setup of events, from table arrangements to audio-visual equipment.
Quality Controller: Coordinate with culinary and service staff to ensure food and beverage service is flawless.
Safety Sentinel: Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor liability regulations.

Essential Functions:
Oversee all aspects of banquet functions, including staff management and event execution.Supervise the banquet team during food and beverage service.
Assist the Banquet Chef with departmental operations.
Conduct pre-function meetings and ensure staff are well-prepared.
Review and execute Banquet Event Orders.
Maintain high standards of food service and venue cleanliness.
Manage inventory and supplies.
Perform cashier duties and assist with serving, bussing, and bartending as needed.
Help maintain and operate audio-visual equipment.
Ensure all safety regulations are communicated and followed.
Plan staff shifts and timetables.
Provide necessary training for staff, including customer service and serving etiquette.
Requirements:
Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work long hours, irregular shifts, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and walk up and down stairs.
Strength: Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
Background Check: Must pass a background check.
Legal Age: Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; degree in hospitality preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a fine catering or banquet service environment.
