Job Summary


The College of Pharmacy seeks a faculty member to serve as a Clinical Training Coordinator (CTC) located in Ashland, Kentucky.

A faculty member in this position works directly with the Office of External Studies to coordinate and facilitate the College's Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) experiential education program in their immediate geographic area as well as the Chief Practice Officer to serve as a liaison to the College of Pharmacy and assist institutions and community pharmacies with the development of residency programs.

The CTC will be responsible for coordinating and expanding rotation experiences of all students in their geographic area and work with the College to satisfy accreditation requirements for clinical education in the areas of preceptor training and teaching.

The CTC will work with the External Studies office for preceptor development opportunities in the CEC and facilitate student-focused activities, such as case presentation and topic discussions.


Applicants should have completed a PharmD and licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Kentucky and Ohio (or ability to obtain license(s)).

Applicants should have practice experience in community and/or institutional pharmacy. Experience as a preceptor for pharmacy students and/or residents. Residency or equivalent experience is preferred.
