Job Description

The Community Manager, Sports* will be responsible for nurturing and engaging with our online community across various community platforms, including Discord and Reddit. This role will serve as a direct line of communication between us and our community, ensuring the community is heard and actively engaged in building a positive feedback loop with 2K and our development partners. This role will also work with a team of cross-functional professionals, ensuring prompt, accurate and proactive community messaging to enhance growth, retention and engagement among our most loyal users.

Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in community management or social media management, preferably within the video game or digital marketing industry.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with online audiences and between diverse internal stakeholders, including developers, marketers, customer support representatives and more.

Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset, as well as the ability to handle challenging situations.

Familiarity with social, online forums, and community management tools, along with a strong understanding of marketing principles and general public relations Dos and Donts.

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
