Job Description

The Compliance Governance and Reporting (CGR) team manages important components of Block's Compliance Risk Management Framework and is part of the Global Policy and Governance (GPG) team within Block Compliance. The CGR team has responsibility for the following functions: Policy Governance, Risk Assessment, Compliance Training, Compliance Risk Assessments, Third-party Risk Management, and Board Reporting.

As a Compliance Training Design Program Manager within the CGR team, you will support training design and administration of Block Inc, level Compliance training, and partner with International, Regional, and Department Compliance Leads to transform required training into a learning experience. You will establish processes for training design and administration of the program. You will manage training design using instructional design methodology along with a dedicated focus on the administrative needs for training including data processes, assessing training issues, and end-to-end management of Compliance training including uploading approved content to learning management systems, completing audience assignments per requirements, managing training communications, monitoring completion rates, managing escalation processes, and exemptions. You will help maintain standards and tools to promote scalability and growth of the function, and produce a high-quality work product. You will have experience working collaboratively with partners and will share requirements of training programs. You will work with other members of the CGR team, GPG, and other Compliance teams to develop the program as part of the broader Compliance Risk Management framework.

Our employment model is distributed, offering the opportunity to work with teams across the world. This role can be based in any of our US offices or remotely in the United States. Flexibility to travel and work across time zones is required.

You Will:

Create engaging and interactive training materials in-house, including e-learning modules, presentations, and resources
Apply instructional design principles and methodologies to develop training content that aligns with learning goals, audience needs, and compliance requirements
Manage aspects of training administration elements including
Training data monitoring and review including tracking completion, enrollment, and
Triaging training issues and questions
Managing and producing training reporting
Provide learner support by email/Slack

Identify and support training design procedures, and design templates
Develop and document and implement processes and quality controls around new training requests, updates/management of existing content, manage guardrails around exemptions, approvals, communications, reporting, and escalation process for non-completion.
Collaborate with company partners to ensure agreement on training plans with a focus on training design and administration
Provide support for training delivery by assisting peers and lead on coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth execution of training created

Qualifications:
Qualifications

You Have:

3 or more years of instructional design and training support experience
Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Rise and other learning authoring tools like Camtasia, Vyond, and Powtoon
Demonstrated training program management and organizational abilities
Experience with standard learning management systems (Workday, Docebo, etc.)
Experience supporting compliance training requirements across geographies
Experience in data analysis, reporting, and quality control routines for training program

Even better:
Experience in the following subject-matter areas: BSA/AML/sanctions, consumer lending, consumer protection, payments
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CAMS, CRCM, CFE)
Domain expertise in data analytics and visualization platforms (Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau)

Additional Information
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $135,200 - USD $202,800

Zone B: USD $125,800 - USD $188,600

Zone C: USD $119,000 - USD $178,400

Zone D: USD $108,200 - USD $162,200
