The Commercial Card Product Development team manages all platforms and applications within the commercial card business that ultimately drive how clients interact with our products and critically influence client experience. Global Reporting and Account Management (GRAM) is Bank of America's global card management platform that allows clients to centrally manage their cardholders' accounts, access reports, and oversee program controls. The application and its continued growth is a key contributor to our overall business strategy. The Commercial Card Product Manager for GRAM will be responsible for the strategy, development and launch of multiple, large-scale global card enhancements that form the multi-year product roadmap. They will work closely with stakeholders such as Product, Sales, Technology, Commercialization, and Operations to develop a strong understanding of client needs, drive solutions that increase our digital offering and deliver distinguished client experiences, and commercialize new capabilities as they are rolled out, maximizing the adoption and benefit of our investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees a set of product(s) and maintains financial responsibility, including accountability for profit and loss activities such as revenue, profit margins, etc.
  • Identifies and creates plans for product development, supporting the creation of sales training programs, and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities
  • Understands product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape to provide awareness of trends to sales and marketing teams
  • Develops and/or influences product strategy, driving products in cash management to provide comprehensive solutions across the bank
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates
  • Drives transaction and revenue growth and manages associated financial processes (i.e., forecast, monthly flash reporting, etc.)
  • Collaborates with internal technology subject matter experts and researches product-related trends in order to provide an integrated and automated client experience
  • Own the GRAM strategy and drive development and execution efforts against GRAM roadmap, bringing new capabilities to market at speed and scale and leading evolution to future state
  • Design and develop business requirements based on a true understanding of client needs, working closely with cross-functional partners to inform scope and solution design of new functionality
  • Manage projects through end-to-end product lifecycle, from idea to launch, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Work with Technology partners and vendors through the agile development methodology, required governance and compliance approvals, and early risk identification and mitigation of issues
  • Manage strategic vendor relationship and cultivate strong working partnership, holding vendor accountable to the highest standard and driving continuous improvement and customer success
  • Partner with Commercialization team post-launch to spread awareness and excitement of new solutions and increase adoption and penetration
  • Day-to-day Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert of the GRAM application serving as the go-to product contact and managing and overseeing client requests, issues/escalations, stakeholder questions, and technical and operational tasks
  • Serve as an innovation champion and thought leader, identifying new opportunities for product enhancement as well as internal efficiencies and process improvements to help simplify and improve the client experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management and/or development
  • Experience working in Commercial Card or Financial Services industry
  • Experience managing a critical, large-scale application and third party relationships
  • Good mix of both business and technical expertise
  • Multi-tasker with ability to successfully manage various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work on cross-functional, global teams across multiple time zones and foster strong working relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Work through complex challenges and project roadblocks, responding with the appropriate sense of urgency
  • Self-starter with a desire to succeed, elevating themselves and others they work with to deliver exceptional results
