Lux Research, a pioneer in the realm of sustainable innovation, is actively searching for a Research Associate (RA) poised to contribute to the very heart of our mission. This role is crafted for individuals who are not only adept in generating pivotal research but also possess an innate ability to dive deep into the complexities of technology and innovation. As a Lux RA, you will stand at the forefront of knowledge, producing the essential research that empowers our clients, the world's top innovation leaders, to make informed decisions about the future.

Research Excellence:
Conduct primary research across personalized nutrition, health and wellness wearables, technology to assess consumer senses creating in-depth company profiles and analyses. Interview the CEOs of start-ups and assess the innovation based on Lux proprietary scoring methodology. Stay abreast of key developments and trends, leveraging your expertise to craft news commentaries, case studies, technology hubs, and insightful analyses.Collaborate with Analysts and other colleagues to contribute to major research reports, offering profound technology and market insights. Your role is crucial in identifying and spotlighting emerging companies, technologies, and themes critical for Lux to maintain its edge.
Client Engagement:
Develop a keen understanding of client business imperatives, contributing to discussions and delivering insights on sustainable innovation within your areas of expertise.Engage in social media and industry events to bolster Lux's standing in the community, and occasionally support consulting projects as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Play a supportive role within a global, diverse team, mentoring new members and providing valuable feedback to leadership.Work alongside team leaders to define research priorities and agendas, shaping the future direction of Lux Research's coverage.Requirements:At least 3 years of relevant experience in technology fields, bolstered by your academic endeavors.A Master's degree is highly preferred, especially with a STEM background in digital health and wellness, advanced wearables, sensors engineering, or related disciplines focusing on the future of health and wellness (e.g., health informatics, biology, biochemistry, chemistry).A profound intellectual curiosity about sustainable innovation, emerging technologies, and the integration of technology with a knack for developing and communicating clear, impactful ideas.A commitment to exceeding client expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Proven ability to articulate complex business and technical concepts through clear and precise writing.Exceptional analytical prowess, embracing both qualitative and quantitative dimensions.A passion for sustainability and solving climate change. An entrepreneurial spirit, complemented by an enthusiastic, collegial, and collaborative work ethic.A highly organized nature and meticulous attention to detail.
