Job Description- Uses forklifts to load trailers/ unload trailers/ store finished and raw materials in storage racks / manage FIFO product management
- Safe Utilization of all associated material handling equipment, willing to learn to drive yard tractor to move trailers in yard.
- Performs housekeeping duties as necessary to support 5S.
- Accepts and processes deliveries.
- Palletizes, wrap shipments for all outgoing shipping orders.
- Enters data into the database for inventory management.
- Fills out all paperwork and inventory tracking documents necessary for shipping, receiving and accurate inventory control.
- Supplies & removes products to and from the production floor.
- Works overtime as needed.
- Moves pallets of finished goods and raw materials within a warehouse and manufacturing areas
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma/GED, or equivalent schooling.
- Works safely with a safety minded approach to all aspects of Job functionality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
- Ability to work overtime
- Basic hand tool skills
- Must be able to perform repetitive assembly using hands and arms which includes bending, reaching and stretching.
- Experience working in a warehouse 2+ years preferred.
- Experience driving a forklift .
- Experience with inventory management software (SAP preferred)
- Should be computer literate with a working knowledge of Office 365, Excel and Word.
- Familiar with FedEx and UPS shipping software preferred. Experience receiving, shipping, palletizing, pallet wrapping and labeling products. Outstanding attention to detail, and a self-starter (ability to work without continuous direction) desired. A warehouse career-orientated individual highly desired.
