Sample Handling Assistant Pre-clinical (animal) Research Studies
Greenfield Indiana
In this role it's a unique combination of sample management and archive tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials. Samples include paper data, wet tissues, slides, blocks and frozen biological samples
Excellent keyboarding skills required as this position will have a high degree of data input into tracking and archive database, may involve repeated lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Excellent customer service skills are required as position interfaces with internal and external customers in retrieving and storage of samples all while maintaining strict business confidentially.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, position will document and communicate discrepancies and assist with problem solving.
Strong organizational skills required as position will maintain storage according to protocol.

Pay rate $19-$20 per hour dependent upon skills and experience experience
Day time work hours, requires ability to work as late as 5:30pm.
High School Diploma or GED required, preferred education beyond high school preferred but not required.
Strong keyboarding skills, able to navigate through multiple screens/applications
Strong customer service skills, strong attention to detail
Stable employment experience with history upward progression and/or taking on additional responsibilities
Prefer but not required 1 or more years of experience in a position that required a high degree of data entry such as customer service representative, order processing.
