The Total Rewards Analyst will manage tasks and activities within the Executive Compensation department as assigned. Examples include assisting in administration of deferred compensation and equity programs, performing analysis and ad-hoc reporting, coordinating risk-related activities and assisting in administration of annual compensation review process. This individual will analyze, consolidate, and summarize data and information accurately, and identify trends and observations for review. The candidate will typically work in small teams but should be able to work independently as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Compensation Department with compensation plan and program activities, including analysis of program design, implementation, administration and processing of related transactions.
  • Partner with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, etc. in the on-going administration of plans and programs.
  • Assists in leading risk-related items for the department including developing and maintaining process maps, procedures, AARs, UAMs and CMDB updates.
  • Develop, maintain, and generate on-going and ad-hoc reports in support of plan administration, strategy, department needs, and management requests.
  • Works directly with internal "clients" and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements for related programs.
  • Works directly with outside vendors, including Fidelity, in administration of plans to ensure transactions and participant records are processed correctly and timely.
  • Performs, interprets, and shares analysis of the effectiveness of programs, ranging from simple data aggregation to data mining, including use, costs and administration and reconciliation, and trend analysis.
  • Assist in the creation and oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Recommends program enhancements as needed and manages special projects.
  • Completion of benchmarking surveys.
  • Assists with processes, procedures, and audits of plans.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in program strategy, design and administration, data analysis and/or reporting
  • Internship experience will be considered
  • Bachelor's Degree (Human Resources, Finance or Business Administration strongly preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills, e.g., survey participation, YOY analysis, data consolidation and analysis
  • Good knowledge of analytical, reporting & presentation tools, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good writing & verbal skills; summarizes data; explains standard processes
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes at one time
  • Good financial acumen
  • Should have a base working knowledge of standard programs, processes, and approaches in an area of specialization such as core compensation, executive compensation, equity compensation
  • Good relationship building skills; establishes solid working relationships across team
  • Good time-management skills; ability to complete tasks on time; high attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of standard programs/processes/approaches in an area of specialization
  • Areas of specialization include executive compensation, equity compensation, deferred compensation, risk
