Position Summary

The position is responsible for writing and maintaining technical documentation within the product development cycle. This position reports to the Product Management Team.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:

  • Provide both technical and end user documentation for each new system feature or module as it is developed.
  • Monitor the existing functionality and updating the documentation to reflect all enhancements and changes.
  • Develop and maintain all documentation associated with the process of developing new components, features and products as it is a key component of the product development cycle.
  • Develop and maintain documentation required to allow implementation of new components and features for client projects.
  • Develop and improve methodology for delivering information to development staff and end users.
  • Understand the systems and products of the Company.
  • Maintain a common look and feel for internal and external company documentation.
  • Update system documentation as changes are implemented and released.
  • Manage the document repository for all product development projects.
  • Provide documentation support to Product Development and Product Management teams.
  • Take initiative to broaden and improve skills by participating in educational programs, webinars, etc.
  • Perform research in support of product development objectives.

What will make you successful:

  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience in technical writing, editing, documentation or training required.
  • Expertise in designing, maintaining, and updating technical documents including web, design specifications, technical user guides, and white papers required.
  • Expert in the usage of technical writing tools required.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Paint and Snip preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft TFS and Atlassian Jira a plus.

  • Product Owner

Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. This position may work with the India office a few days a week and will require an earlier start to the day around 6:30MT. This position may require after work hours and occasional weekends, depending on work demands.
