About the Role:

Matterport is looking for a Product Manager Director who will take full ownership for new AI and generative AI capabilities at Matterport. In this individual senior contributor role, you will lead the product roadmap to combine generative AI and property insights to bring new product offerings to reshape the real estate landscape.

You will partner with engineering and design to incorporate generative AI across Matterport digital twin platform to dramatically improve operating efficiency and decision-making process for the build world. You will be a thought partner and trusted stakeholder to functional leads across Matterport in product, design, marketing, analytics and sales teams to set and exceed aggressive growth targets. You should thrive at the intersection of innovation, customer-focused product, data, marketing and sales.

You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from crafting strategy, to capturing business requirements, to planning, delivery, and evaluation of performance against KPIs. You will drive initiatives throughout the customer lifecycle including customer adoption and monetization across Matterport's suite of SaaS products. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the emerging tech, bringing 0 to 1 products and growth vectors to help drive value for customers and the business. Furthermore, you will work side by side with team members to lead efforts to build and shape our overall strategy and capability.

What you will do:

  • Accelerate Matterport's generative AI roadmap to transform how buildings are designed, built and managed
  • Driving innovation by researching emerging AI trends and shaping a compelling product vision and roadmap that harnesses AI
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, sales and marketing to craft end-to-end roadmap that delight our customers and exceed our goals
  • Engage in active listening to customers while possessing the critical acumen to make strategic product decisions aligned with the broader vision
  • Develop a strong product strategy to foster our growth and build prototypes by using qualitative and quantitative research to operationalize it
  • Be the voice of your product area; inspire team members and stakeholders of the impact and opportunity ahead
  • Own and drive projects from ideation through implementation and launch, with excellent execution to engagement performance and adoption rates
  • Help develop standardized product engagement metrics for genAI offerings and KPIs for the organization.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment working with cross-functional teams with a strong focus on developing AI-enabled products
  • Proven experience planning and executing programs across multiple stakeholders with excellent written, verbal and organizational communication skills. You are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts in verbal or written form. You can engage constructively in debate and discussion with your colleagues and peers.
  • Organization and efficiency — Expertise in designing and executing data-driven initiatives, ability to draw conclusions and scale test learnings with internal & external teams.
  • The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of software and workflows used to build & operate real estate projects including for example Autodesk, Amazon Twinmaker, BIM, CAD, etc.
  • Experience in aligning product and technical roadmaps with a keen understanding of team capabilities and constraints for achievable outcomes
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving product innovation
  • Customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Team player with a "do-er" mentality–– able to operate in both large company (operating at scale) and small company (scrappy execution) environments.
  • Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing programs/processes - you can ideate and execute sophisticated projects and own them from start to finish.
  • Empathetic: You deeply understand how customers think. You can accurately predict how changes will make them feel. You enjoy creating delight.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,900 to $274,100 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
