The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests, answer questions, and provide amenities upon request.
  • Receive linen supplies from laundry and stocks linen closets.
  • Strip soiled linen from beds as required for laundering.
  • Assist housekeepers on making bunk beds.
  • Remove trash collected by housekeepers.
  • Maintain guest common areas such as corridor, landings, guest elevators, pool @ homes, exterior of units.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, stock supplies, and provide inventory counts.
  • Clean carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
  • Move furniture, extra beds and turn mattresses as needed.
  • Secure lost items and turn in Manager daily.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform heavy duty work in accommodations, such heavy lifting and waxing and polishing floors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a houseperson or willingness and aptitude to learn the role.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach repeatedly.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials.
  • Able to be on feet and moving around for entire shift.
