Position Summary

The Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through to launch, encompassing a variety of business units and subject matters. This role will be responsible for leading projects through the entire project lifecycle, requiring effective scoping, planning, resource assigning, scheduling, coordinating, tracking, and reporting. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Lead projects through the entire project lifecycle, requiring effective scoping, planning, resource assigning, scheduling, coordinating, tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage, appropriately escalate, and timely communicate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and scope changes that could impact the outcome of each project.
  • Deliver assigned projects on time and within budget.
  • Create and manage project documents, including but not limited to scope and requirements documentation, project charters, issues and decision logs, schedules, status reports, and change documentation.
  • Continuously review business needs, refine priorities, and outline milestones and deliverables for project team.
  • Conduct project closure activities, including lessons learned and ensure proper project handover and documentation for future reference.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and Product Managers across multiple business units, ensuring clear communication of project objectives, priorities, and timelines to align expectations and drive project success.
  • Provide continuous support to project teams around project deadlines, updates, and changes to prevent delays.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to host project kickoff, review schedule, status, risks, and issues.
  • Provide regular status reports that identify status, schedule, business impact, and project issues, and as needed, provide best practice advisement on how to navigate issues as they arise.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for streamlining and improving project and other business processes to reduce lag and inefficiencies.
  • Attend meetings with management and executive leadership as required.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent related work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in project management with knowledge in project management best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Experience in the various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with project management tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, , Asana, etc.).
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and inspire others.
  • Expert communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in organization, planning, and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and business analysis skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (i.e. Microsoft Project, , Asana, etc.).
  • The office environment requires the use of standard office equipment and personal computers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of project management experience, executing cross-functional projects, interfacing with sales and marketing.
  • Experience using Asana to manage projects and tasks.
  • Professional experience in network marketing or health and wellness industry.
  • Related certifications, such as PMI-PMP, Scrum, and Prince Certifications.
