Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

RN will be expected to scrub and monitor cases on top of the already expected RN roles of sedating/circulating

Sign on Bonus for eligible hires

36hr (3-12hr shifts 06:30AM-7:00PM) Ability to self-schedule Monday thru Friday

Day Shift

There are no "scheduled weekends or holidays" but, there is scheduled on-call which would be scheduled Mon-Fri nights (individually) from , weekend call covers 1900 Friday night until 0630 Monday morning. The amount of call that RNs are assigned is entirely dependent on the number of staff that are on departments roster at any given moment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BSN preferred.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
