About the location:

The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate Groundskeeper / Landscaper This position requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work with the team as well as work alone, and willingness to want and learn all aspects of grounds maintenance. They should be able to work in difficult weather conditions both hot and cold as well as continue to develop their knowledge on course conditions and expectations.

Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain the physical property and furnishings in a manner consistent with that of a luxury resort
  • Clean and rake surfaces throughout the resort
  • Maintain landscaping tools in good condition
  • Plant new plants and cactus, trim plants and trees without harm to their life
  • Replace or repair irrigation pipe and lines
  • Remove and relocate plants and landscaping material, complete all assigned work in a safe and complete fashion
  • Use all safety precautions at all times when using tools, chemicals, ladders, or other potentially dangerous equipment or supplies
Skills/Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have:
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Some prior training in landscaping
