We’re in search of a hard-working team player to join us as a Landscaper. With the crew leader's supervision, you will perform lawn care and maintenance duties for our large, beautiful grounds including mowing, fertilizing, mulching, edging, raking, pruning, plant care, irrigation, and any additional landscaping tasks. Responsibilities:- Make sure lawn care, groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance duties are completed including mulching, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, raking, edging, and pruning
- Apply pesticide as needed for weed control
- Tend to flower beds using a sprinkler or irrigation system
- Write daily reports of work completed
Maintain landscape property-wide by:
- Trimming trees and shrubs
- Controlling weeds
- Debris cleanup
- Ensure that the main entrance is kept clean
- Maintain landscape irrigation system and program timer clocks
- Keep the shop organized and stocked
- All other duties as assigned or needed by supervisors
- Great physical health and stamina
- 2+ years of experience as a landscaper for residential or commercial properties
- Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment including clippers, chain saws, lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, rakes, and hedge trimmers
- Creative troubleshooting ability
- Trustworthy, punctual, reliable, coachable, self-starting, communicative
- Respect for the environment
- In good physical condition and able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Experience working with landscape equipment including riding and walking behind lawnmowers, pruning saws, weed trimmers, sprayers, and motorized golf carts
- Experience with both sprinkler and drip irrigation systems, their repairs, and seasonal clock management
- Understanding of plant identification and proper maintenance
- Available to work at least one weekend day on a weekly basis
- Reliable to work full time, 40 hours a week on-site, mostly outdoors
