Are you an experienced Medical Lab Professional looking for a new challenge in Medical Lab Science? LabCorp is seeking a Technologist in Flow Cytometry in Brentwood, TN to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment, contributing to LabCorp's mission: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".

The work schedule for this position is 1st shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Determine specimen acceptability for testing
  • Perform technical procedures according to SOPs
  • Monitor instrumentation and troubleshoot
  • Make technical decisions and solve problems
  • Evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Report test results accurately and timely
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and quality control
  • Identify and replenish supplies
  • Assist with specimen processing
  • Maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Lab Science, or Clinical Lab Science
  • ASCP or AMT certification required
  • Tennessee state Medical Technologist (MT) license preferred
  • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist (MT) highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems
  • Attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Pass standardized color vision screen
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts
