About This Role

Under general direction, the Billing Specialist is responsible for processing ESi billing twice monthly, with a focus primarily on clients with contract billing requirements. This position requires a detail-oriented individual, who can work in a high-volume setting. Successful candidates must have the ability to meet deadlines, independently and creatively problem solve and conduct their responsibilities with a customer service mindset and an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes ESi billing twice monthly, with a focus primarily on clients with contract or special Billing requirements
  • Resolves ad hoc billing requests in a timely manner
  • Provides internal customer service
  • Manages billing portal access, including initial setup, maintenance and ongoing invoice submissions
  • Supports Accounting team with various tasks or duties as needed (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
  • Supports annual and interim audit requests
  • Assist with internal training and procedural documentation for accounting processes between admin and billing teams.

Education/Experience:

  • Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associates degree or higher in Accounting/Business preferred

Computer Skills:

  • Experience billing through 3E - Elite accounting platform
  • Experience with eBilling platforms for various clients
  • Experience with LEDES billing
  • Microsoft Teams (or equivalent)
  • Adobe, Word, Excel

Preferred Experience

  • Experience billing through Thomson Reuters 3E Elite
  • Thomson Reuters 3E Elite eBilling Hub
  • Experience with eBilling through Legal Tracker, Legal X/Bottomline, T360, Collaborati/Mitratech, Counselink, Ascent, Ariba, CounselGo, Lawtrac, Coupa
