Short Description
The Clinical Educator II is a nursing professional who is responsible for a variety of training and developmental duties in healthcare. The Clinical Educator II possesses master–level competencies to ensure nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel have the skills and training to succeed in their individualized units or specialty.
Overview
Kelemen 8 is a medical–surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.
Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients and 2 hallway areas, and the South side houses 36 patients and another 2 hallway areas. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti–room.
There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.

Masters Required; Masters in Nursing preferred
License/Certification Requirements
NJ RN license requiredAHA BLS requiredACLS required within 6 months of hire

4/10's – 7P–5A with flex weekend coverageSpecialty certification preferred
