Job Overview:

The LPL Insurance Associates team within the Growth Solution division is looking for an experienced License & Contract Consultant willing to provide exceptional customer service to LPL Financial advisors as they look to become contracted with various life insurance carriers for their placed life insurance business. The License & Contract Consultant is responsible for the processing of contracting and appointment paperwork for the financial advisor. The primary goal is to ensure that all Life, Long-Term Care and Disability Insurance appointment requests are processed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner and that all internal systems are updated to reflect this information.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing and submission of life insurance contracting requests
  • Research complex situations pertaining to licensing and contracting, and set client expectations throughout
  • Actively participate in training and meetings to remain current with operational policies and procedures, acting in capacity as trainer and/or trainee
  • Educate financial advisors on the use of technology to help navigate through the Resource Center for obtaining contracting paperwork
  • Handles all not-in-good-order (NIGO) appointment requests and works directly with advisors to obtain necessary items for processing and submission to the insurance carrier
  • Works closely with all our life insurance carriers to research and escalate appointment matters as necessary
  • Handles advisor escalations and works to quickly resolve by partnering with the appropriate parties
  • Operates full time on the insurance and contracts and licensing phone queue to assist customers with insurance and partners with LPL Financial departments for all other broker dealer calls
  • Provide a wide range of support and partner effectively with external and internal partners for processing of contracting & appointment requests
  • Additional responsibilities or duties may be assigned as needed or determined

Requirements:

  • 2+ years working within the financial industry
  • 2+ years in prior administrative support role
  • 1+ years of experience preparing reports, analysis, and summaries for client review meeting

Preferences:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Client Resource Management (CRM) software (i.e. Redtail)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Strong follow through and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and prioritize daily tasks

Pay Range:

$17.85-$26.77/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
