The Opportunity

As a Hotel Guest Services Bell Person, you will be the first point of contact for our Guests, providing a warm and professional welcome. Your role is essential in ensuring that Guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart. You will assist with luggage, provide accurate information about services and amenities, and ensure that every Guest interaction is marked by exceptional service.

Greet Guests at the bell station and/or lobby entrance in a courteous and professional manner.
Promptly and courteously respond to Guest requests and inquiries, providing detailed explanations of facilities, hours of operation, and answering all questions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Grand Casino properties and nearby special events to advise Guests accordingly.
Upon Guest entry into their room, explain the accommodations and equipment, including the proper operation of room locks, televisions, and thermostats.
Assist Guests with entering and exiting the building, ensuring doors are opened and closed safely.
Communicate Guest safety protocols, such as fire safety and evacuation procedures, clearly and effectively.
Contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of lobby areas and corridors as needed.
Perform other departmental duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the team.

What Qualifies YouPrior hotel experience preferred.

Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's).
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Physical NeedsTalk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.
See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
Stand, walk, run, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
Be able to lift and carry objects up to twenty-five (25) lbs.
Must Have SkillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with Guests, providing clear and accurate information.
A strong commitment to delivering exceptional Guest service and ensuring a positive Guest experience.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and handle heavy luggage, and perform physical tasks as required.
Ability to interact positively with Guests and team members, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Maintaining a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
Capability to address and resolve Guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
