Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix are pleased to announce the expansion of Graduate Medical Education programs, with a total of 229 additional residency and fellowship positions. The initiative will expand with three programs in 2025 and build 16 additional programs by 2027. The program will be part of an established and successful sponsoring institution and Department of Family Medicine - The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
BANNER HEALTH, a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the country's premier, non-profit health care networks is seeking an academic leader with educational expertise to serve as the Family Medicine Residency Program Director for Banner Medical Group's new, community-based FM program. This position will be based at our health center in Chandler, Arizona and Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.
Key Highlights:
Develop an innovative medical education curriculum that integrates clinical experience and evidence-based practiceOversees program facultyAccountable for operational and financial performanceResponsible for the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, counseling, evaluation, and advancement of residentsResidents will have both inpatient and outpatient rotations. Outpatient clinic time will be at the Banner Health Center in Mesa and inpatient at Banner Desert Medical Center in MesaEstablish patient panel for incoming residents.
