Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies to enhance the organization's capital structure;
  • Oversee the creation of presentation materials for the Company's Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, current and/or potential investors, and current and/or potential lenders.
  • Analyze and support all financing-related activities, such as Excel modeling, report generation, and collaborating with the Asset Management, Operations, and Accounting teams to assess and scrutinize asset-level and corporate financial results and operating performance metrics and communicating them to the various lending groups.
  • Construct underwriting and financial models to back various forms of debt financing structures including crucial metrics/terms and covenants.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the Capital Markets team to ensure adherence to lender and/or servicer requirements and debt covenants, including crafting all mandatory reports.
  • Create and manage comprehensive debt-related documentation, encompassing offering memoranda, term sheets, and financial reports.
  • Handle monthly funding requests under financing agreements, along with associated documentation requirements.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with vital internal and external collaborators, including financial institutions, sponsors, loan servicers, legal advisors, and others.
  • Introduce technology solutions and procedures to streamline Capital Markets activities.
  • Devise and implement hedging strategies covering FX and interest rate risk management and monthly settlements.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline.
  • At least 5-7 years of demanded experience; expertise in financial modeling and/or real estate emphasis mandatory.
  • Experience in investment banking, debt capital markets, corporate capital markets, private equity, finance, and/or accounting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various real estate and infrastructure debt financing arrangements, including securitizations, is necessary.

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • Proficiency with Excel at an advanced level is essential, including ease and familiarity with advanced Excel functions.
  • Mastery of all Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint, is necessary.
  • Highly-developed analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Considerable intellectual curiosity.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; adept at handling several competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-centered approach and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must possess self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Familiarity with fundamental finance and accounting theory, including interpreting and grasping financial statements.
  • Diligent work ethic and dedication to operational superiority with the capacity to thrive and excel in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Flexible in adapting to changing work conditions and evolving priorities.
  • Apt at effectively engaging employees and fostering relationships across the company at all levels.
