The Senior Buyer will be responsible for supporting the IT category procurement for Johnson & Johnson Companies.

In this role you will complete sourcing events where you will lead business partner engagement, evaluate event results, connect with suppliers on quotes, collaborate with contracting, and implement beneficial solutions with the business team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier communications including sourcing event invitations, issue resolution, pricing terms negotiation, and contracting
  • Receive, analyze, and resolve supplier inquiries, disputes, and payment discrepancies
  • Supervise the purchase order process, including approving the purchase requisition, selecting suppliers, verifying budget alignment, and confirming delivery of orders
  • Build and cultivate business partner relationships and communications during the purchase process
  • Assess change needs, impacts, and business partner management activities and support organizational change integration activities
  • Perform one-off exception purchases, negotiate final pricing terms, and select suppliers based on singular demand
  • Perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baselines for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirements
  • Prioritize and validate potential strategic options, determine the benefits cases for these options, and measure the performance against established critical metrics
