Responsibilities

Job Description

This role will play a key part in overseeing CommonSpirit Health's Corporate Responsibility Program for specific markets/entities within the organization. The position requires a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and operational practices, with a focus on maintaining independence and objectivity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Aid in the administration and supervision of CommonSpirit Health's comprehensive Corporate Responsibility Program at the local level, in alignment with Federal guidelines and the organization's plan.
  • Provide management and support for CRP committees/workgroups at the local level, facilitating meetings and coordinating group activities effectively.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal and external CRP investigations, overseeing complaint resolution processes.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports for senior executives and local oversight committees, keeping them informed of compliance matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring dissemination of this information within the organization.
  • Coordinate resources for entity auditing and monitoring, potentially conducting compliance audits to identify risks.
  • Assist in monitoring activities and developing corrective action plans when needed.
  • Provide regular compliance education sessions and participate in development opportunities to enhance the CRP's effectiveness.
  • Serve as a compliance subject matter expert in specific areas, contributing valuable insights to the team.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years' healthcare experience in an acute setting, including one year in healthcare compliance or related fields.
  • At least three years' experience collaborating across departments, leading teams, and working with executives.

Certifications

  • Preferred certifications: Certified in HC Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).

  • Strong written communication, analytical, and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex healthcare system
  • Proven track record in policy development and issue resolution
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve compliance objectives
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in system-thinking and alignment with business priorities
  • Strong project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Skill in nurturing positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents effectively

Compensation

$61.91 per hour
