We are looking for a vibrant and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a luxurious hotel nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests enjoy immaculately clean and comfortable accommodations.

Your responsibilities will include meticulously inspecting guest rooms and public areas, promptly responding to guest requests, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough room inspections in accordance with industry standards, ensuring that all areas meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for carpets, floors, bathrooms, fixtures, and amenities, paying close attention to detail.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of linen and amenity closets, ensuring they are well-stocked and orderly.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any issues or malfunctions promptly.
  • Monitor and enforce hotel and departmental policies and procedures to ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience.
  • Assist in preparing VIP and showcase rooms to showcase our hotel's offerings.
  • Provide leadership and support to the housekeeping team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree from a two-year college preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
