We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role will be split between warehouse and office duties, requiring a versatile candidate who can excel in both environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving operations within our facility, as well as performing administrative tasks in the office. This includes processing orders and shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate records using inventory management software. great computer skills are essential for success in this role, as the candidate will be required to utilize various software applications for data entry, inventory tracking, and communication with internal teams and external partners. salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

 At least 3-5 years of shipping experience, concentrating on the clerical/computer side
 Must know UPS, FedEx shipping software along with the motor-freight side as well
 This position will be part shipping office and part shipping floor work
 Pay will be based on experience
 professional, well-spoken, clear communicator with full knowledge of logistics
 somone with a knowledge of best practices in packaging and palletizing

The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environmentmanual lifting up to 30lbsstanding for 5 hours at one timeworking up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
