Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals.

This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes.

Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.


We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with a strong background in strategic planning to lead key initiatives that align with our long-term business objectives.

This role is ideal for individuals who excel in transforming strategic visions into actionable plans and guiding those plans to fruition.

In this role, you will be responsible for program strategies, including the development and execution of detailed project roadmaps.

Your expertise in strategic planning will be essential in identifying critical business opportunities and challenges, and in devising innovative solutions to address them.

You will work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders, harmonizing different perspectives and ensuring cohesive efforts towards common goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.

  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
  • Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

A day in the life

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager - EV In-Life Services, to optimize service capacity and performance of our growing electric fleet to support vehicle uptime goals, and delivery service provider satisfaction.

This leader will work with electric vehicle OEMs, Fleet Management Companies, and third party service providers to expand service capacity in EV repair space, drive performance in quality of repair and speed of turn around time.

This leader will work with OEMs and Fleet Management companies to onboard new EV models, and develop a mechanical repair service network geographically to pair with our EV expansion.

This leader will drive Field Service Actions, working with OEMs to identify, plan and execute service repair campaigns.

This leader will initiate new data flows and develop analytics needed for new EV models we are onboarding to the fleet.

This leader will analyze trends and communicate opportunities for product and service improvements with our engineering teams.

This leader will work directly with EV - OEMs to problem solve, and prioritize vehicle repairs and service technician capacity.

The Senior Program Manager - EV In-Life Services will partner with both internal and external stakeholders to develop strategies to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle availability to safely deliver packages to the customer doorstep.

This position requires experience in customer focus and in project/program management skills and data.

Senior Program Manager - EV In-Life Services will have experience to apply critical thinking, problem-solving, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities.

The individual will need to work in close partnerships with internal and external stakeholder groups.

This role is based in Nashville, TN. May require some on-site visits (~10% travel).

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver results
  • Manage full lifecycle of complex crossfunctional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations
  • Scope, create, and drive project plans
  • Communicate to Senior Management on status, risks and process/product changes
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment,
  • Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
  • Partner with customers, external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
  • Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective crossteam collaboration)
  • Identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
  • Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects
  • Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
  • Create, communicate, and manage budget for projects
About the team

The Team defines the strategy of EV fleet service, maintenance and repairs, owns the processes, infrastructure and tech required for the DSPs to operate the last mile fleet safely and economically.

The team owns the development, piloting and integration of service, maintenance and repairs programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
