Job Description:

At Regions, the Enterprise Operations Quality Control Manager ensures that all compliance activities within their area of expertise follow the necessary rules and regulations, contribute to process change and redesign in addition to developing business plans, policies, and procedures to support a particular line of business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluates current and proposed systems and procedures
  • Recommends changes when necessary and assists in implementation of new processes and/or systems
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Leads and directs the work of others
  • Analyzes audit findings and develops ongoing plan for training to enhance quality, efficiency of audits and accuracy work and processes
  • Provides advice, coaching and guidance to team members on quality control audit practices and procedures
  • Performs periodic review of audit procedures and results for training recommendations to enhance and maintain a high level of quality
  • Performs quality reviews on audit production to monitor accuracy and consistency
  • Performs a variety of tasks

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven (7) years of experience working with regulatory requirements with associated line of business
  • Or a High School Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of experience working with regulatory requirements with associated line of business
  • Of the required experience, three (3) years experience must be in a supervisory or management capacity

Preferences

  • Experience with quality assurance, risk management and/or audit

Additional Job Description

This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL . Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$74,556.80 USD

Median:

$110,110.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
