Summary:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of responsible and specialized functions related to cleaning and maintenance of ILoca Services, Inc.'s. buildings and grounds. This position is responsible for basic upkeep of the buildings and grounds, and preventive maintenance of the facilities in order to ensure functionality and safety. Problem solving skills and best judgment practices are required to plan, organize and prioritize a varied workload.

Essential Functions:

· Grounds-keeping; trimming trees and shrubs, mowing the lawn, plowing and shoveling snow and ice

· Custodial housekeeping; cleaning office spaces, parts showroom, and bathrooms, including:

o Vacuuming carpets

o Wet mopping floors

o Trash removal

· Basic building maintenance; changing light bulbs, patching roof leaks, basic electrical and plumbing repairs and light construction work

· Equipment maintenance

Other Duties:

· Running errands to pick up supplies and hardware

· Communicating information regarding building and grounds issues to management; supporting necessary outside labor

· May be required to provide backup support and assistance to other staff

· Special projects as assigned

Skills / Qualifications:

Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly, and have the ability to make quick decisions. Must be capable of building strong relationships both internally and with key suppliers. Must have superior organizing and prioritizing skills, and flexibility. Equal abilities to take direction and work autonomously. Ability to exercise discretion in confidential matters. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb and descend ladders. Able to sit, bend, stoop and/or stand for extended periods in an office, outdoor, and shop environment as needed. May occasionally work in an environment that may have exposure to: dust, hot or cold temperatures, loud noises, strong odors and other assorted distractors.

Preferred education and experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Experience with building and grounds maintenance, with some electrical and plumbing skills strongly preferred.
