How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to Director, Enterprise Data & Insights, in this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with the entire data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and cleaning to analysis, visualization, and model building. You will work alongside our team of data scientists on real-world projects, contributing to the development of data-driven solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection and data curation tasks.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of machine learning models (depending on the internship project)
  • Conduct research on emerging data science techniques and tools.
  • Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

The Must Haves:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field (data science preferred)
  • Strong programming skills in Python (or R)
  • Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for learning and a curiosity about data science

  • Approach to solving problems, effective communication, and ownership.
  • Agile mindset and good understanding of MVP / iterative development is desired.
