Your role:

  • Lead the development of evidence generation strategies for projects, working within a cross-functional team.
  • Author clinical development and evaluation plans, and clinical trial protocols.
  • Drive execution of clinical activities in partnership with clinical operations and conduct/coordinate ongoing medical and scientific review with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead interpretation & dissemination of evidence generated from clinical development activities (CSRs, CERs, manuscripts, etc.)
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate dissemination of clinical data/information for external communications.
  • Participate in health authority interactions, as well as interactions with site Institutional Review Boards/ethics committees.
  • Provide clinical development input to proposed revisions of SOPs and guidance documents.
  • Represent the Clinical & Medical Affairs function as a member of the leadership team in the PV segment.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 10+ years of experience in clinical research/development function, or related functional area within the industry. Experience in execution of clinical trials is a plus.
  • 5+ years' experience in leading teams with strong track record in talent development and / or recognized deep domain expert in technology / therapeutic area.
  • MD/ PhD / Masters Degree in Clinical/Science field, or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent experience.
  • Doctorate degree can substitute for at least 4 years of industry experience.
  • Your skills include a proven track record in successful talent development, evidence strategy ideation and execution, being self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an efficient manner, communicating effectively and with confidence when interacting with varying levels of internal/external management, and key opinion leaders. You have excellent teamwork and negotiation skills: knows how to complete deliverables by working effectively with others internally and externally; can effectively drive discussions and decisions toward desired end results. You have strong organizational and project management skills and drive continuous improvement in a matrixed, lean-focused environment with the capacity to adapt to changing work requirements as needed.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position is $154,000 to $264,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
