Exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare provider in Riverside County. We are seeking Psychiatrists to join our Department of Behavioral Health team at Riverside University Health System.


We have openings at various locations including Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Community Health Clinics throughout Riverside County, Behavioral Health facilities, Inpatient Treatment Facility in Riverside, Emergency Treatment Services in Riverside, and Detention Health Services across the county.

Available positions include Psychiatry Entry levels to Staff Psychiatrist levels with competitive hourly rates.

Examples of Essential Duties

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medication and provide psychiatric treatments
  • Participate in quality assurance programs
  • Offer expert advice and counseling to patients and families
  • Prepare legal documents and provide Court testimony
  • Collaborate with medical staff and administration
Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Physician's and Surgeon's Certificate issued by the State of California
  • Psyhiatry board eligible or certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Knowledge of psychiatric principles and practices
  • Ability to provide specialized psychiatric services and establish effective relationships
