Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Statement Preparation:
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
    • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and work to resolve any identified issues.
  2. Job Costing:
    • Manage and analyze job cost data, including tracking of project budgets, actual costs, and variances.
    • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost allocation and budgeting.
    • Prepare job cost reports and provide insights into project profitability and efficiency.
  3. General Accounting:
    • Oversee and perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
    • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  4. Compliance and Audit Support:
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
    • Support external auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure company adherence.
  5. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

  6. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
