About the Role
The Senior Product Manager is a subject matter expert on designing and building software as product that solves for real problems experienced by our clients and prospects. You will be working with agile teams that work on creating features on our front-end and back-end capabilities. You will interact with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX Design, DevOps teams and QA to ensure the business-critical software solutions we develop deliver real and consistent business value.
This individual will be familiar with modern technologies but also have a product mindset, the ability to prioritize new features, define a product and what it is not, work with other teams to validate the usefulness of features and drive adoption, manage delivery, and manage stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert on designing and building software as products.
  • Ensure big picture items are converted to definition working through a process around discovery, design, definition, and delivery.
  • Articulate the big picture of the solution to Scrum delivery teams and peer product managers to understand cross-functional inter-dependencies and impact.
  • Analyze customer and business requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and explain customer issues from both a technical and business point of view.
  • Own and drive the prioritization of work for our Engineering teams.
  • Build stakeholder relationships and work seamlessly cross-functionally.
  • Enable software development teams to understand scope by translating epics into stories.
  • Outline clear acceptance criteria and guide incremental delivery of complex technology projects.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops/discussions that generate ideas and content for solutions, unearth client pain points, validate business opportunities, etc..
  • Own, create, maintain, and update the software documentation for all features.
  • Advocate and adopt Agile, Lean, and continuous delivery and analysis best practices.

Relevant Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with cross-functional teams focused on building B2B, SaaS, and/or Enterprise products.
  • Experience with modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • 7+ years of experience working in product management.
  • Experience working on B2B SaaS products focused on Marketing technology, customer engagement and customer experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to display an openness to opinions and flexibility in thinking.
  • Critical thinking and analytics skills in a software development environment.
  • Customer-first mindset with a natural knack of identifying pain points and finding creative ways to solve problems.
  • Familiarity with lean product design and agile development methods.
  • Experience with modern technologies (e.g., AWS).
  • Experience working with Data based products, BI Tools, Analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools, issue tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, Aha).
