About the role:

Our Maintenance Technicians are very valuable to us here at Lexington because they are imperative to our machines running and creating quality products for our customers. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 2:15 am. This position also comes with a $1 per hour shift differential They perform periodic preventive maintenance and inspection checks on equipment, machine tools, and building equipment. Another part of their role includes performing maintenance and troubleshooting equipment/machine malfunction, including electrical and mechanical issues, which may require dismantling the machine and cleaning, adjusting/repairing/replacing defective parts, and testing the machine to ensure it is running properly. On a daily basis, they use computerized equipment and communicate regularly with other team members. This position will report to our Maintenance Supervisor, who is on-site. This is a great role for someone who is familiar with troubleshooting 110, 208, and 480v 1ph and 3ph circuits and someone who might have previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years previous experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Requires mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to use all types of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to set up VFD and troubleshoot electrical control and wiring problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions, manuals, prints, mechanical blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
