Job Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager I (PM) to support our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering scope on our M88FOV STS program(s).
As a PM I you will;

  • Lead Program Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
  • Have knowledge of program Scope Management and Cost Estimating including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes
  • Use Program/Project Management methodologies, toolsets, process, and governance
  • Ability to effectively manage program complexities and structuring activities in times of ambiguity
  • Manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Operate independently and proactively
  • Ability to travel 10%


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Program/Project Management and knowledge of methodologies, toolsets, process, and governance.
  • Experience leading Program Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
  • Knowledge of program Scope Management and Cost Estimating including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes
  • Ability to effectively manage program complexities and structuring activities in times of ambiguity
  • Ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Highly effective critical thinking skills


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Graduate Degree
  • PMP Certification or similar
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense Engineering
  • Experience in Lifecycle Management (LCM)
  • Experience in Control Account Manager (CAM) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
