Key Responsibilities:

This role will lead and supervise the operation of Aircraft Move Teams across the Hubs, as well as continuously develop and supervise initial and recurrent training compliance for the Hub program.

  • Serves as the primary manager on duty for Move Team Operations and oversight of operational planning and execution
  • Provide consistent, ongoing strategic operational planning and communication to include planning and execution during Irregular operations, weather events and emergency situations
  • Primary liaison with Tech Ops, Flight Ops, CSC and SOC regarding Move Team operations
  • Supports the station safety culture through critical communications and Hub/Division SAT's
  • Develops recovery plans to transition from IRROPS to normal operations
  • Identifies strategic and innovative solutions to common problems with sustainability
  • Responsible for end of day reports, collateral duties and projects beyond the scope of daily job responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and development to Direct Reports

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High School Diploma/GED or education equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience of airport operations experience
  • Basic experience in aircraft movement or previous ramp experience
  • Experience in leading a large group of employees either M&A or frontline
  • Strong leadership skills and capability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Airport Hub Operations
  • Consistent track record for crucial action backed by strategic planning, continuous improvement, analytical thinking, goal-directed leadership and service-oriented performance
  • Ability to consistently lead and manage both regular and irregular operational environments while considering Safe, Caring, Dependable and Efficient decisions
  • Strong communicator and engagement practices
  • Ability to develop and produce data driven reports for continuous improvement and SMS inputs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24 hour/7day a week operation including weekends, nights and holidays
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
