Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Art handling, museum experience, collection software experience, shipping experience.
  • 2+ years of administrative or business support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

    What You Will Be Doing
    • Assist staff with internal object movement and storage.
    • Assist with local and national incoming and outgoing shipments. Coordinate shipping between branch and St. Louis storage.
    • Inventory of shipments from various locations, includes handling, initial photography, and recording basic biographical information, photography, medium, etc.
    • Enter, edit, and maintain Argus database records, including conducting the transition to new location patterns.
    • Resolve Argus database conversion-related issues.
    • General maintenance and organization of art storage areas as required.
    • Support Business Execution: Proactively seek ways to improve processes.
    • Perform moderately complex administrative support tasks.
    • Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions. Interact with client personnel on a range of information.
