Duties

The Director, Integrated Services & Analysis is responsible for developing business solutions to ensure implementation and sustainment of Mission Support and National Airspace System (NAS) programs to deliver NextGen benefits for airspace users. The incumbent leads, manages and oversees resource management services, acquisition strategies, program health management, and technical planning, analysis, and integration support for Program Management Organization (PMO) programs.

The Director oversees and has direct line authority over approximately 40 highly technical positions, including nine (9) senior managers, and oversees a budget of approximately $2.2B.

Principal Responsibilities
Provides guidance to Executives on the management of major acquisitions. Reviews and recommends changes to the Acquisition Management System policy and guidance that affect PMO programs and project efforts. Promotes best practices across the enterprise.Oversees work to support investment planning and integration for NextGen programs and engineering capabilities that are in transition to the PMO. Directs integrated program support resources contracts to help PMO programs achieve programmatic and corporate goals.Performs independent reviews and assessments of program performance to identify risks, issues, and opportunities to support the health of PMO programs.Engages in technical planning and analysis of the impact of program variables, including NAS architecture changes, technology refresh initiatives, alternative analyses, and unfunded mandates to streamline processes.Oversees Field Technical Advisory functions as an integrated channel between wide-ranging stakeholders and the PMO.Represents the PMO in meetings, committees, and forums. Exercises delegate authority to make commitments on behalf of the FAA on matters directly affecting the Integrated Services and Analysis.

Qualifications

As a basic requirement for entry into the FAA Executive System, you must clearly articulate and describe within your five ( 5 ) p a g e resume evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level management capability; and that is directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under the Leadership and Technical Requirements listed below.

Include in your description ways that you applied long-range vision, developed strategies, and applied innovative ideas and techniques.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: Experience providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight to an organization responsible for the implementation and sustainment of resource management services;
acquisition strategies; program health management; and planning, analysis, and integration in support of National Airspace System and/or Mission Support programs.
