Mechanical Technician Needed:

  • Must be willing and able to work a 12-hour day/night shift with a 2/2 weeks on/off rotational schedule on the North Slope of Alaska.
  • Currently reside in, able to relocate to, or willing to commute to Anchorage, AK without company assistance.


The primary role of the Mechanic is to repair, maintain and trouble shoot the many critical pieces of rotation equipment across all of the asset.

The position requires an extensive working knowledge of how to completely disassemble/reassemble centrifugal gas compressors, generators, centrifugal pumps, gearboxes, HVAC units, Fin Fans and all other auxiliary equipment associated with rotating equipment.

Mechanics are required to lead/oversee all work done by the contract workforce and ensure the projects are completed in a timely manner.

They must have in-depth experience with many precision measurement tools and the different forms of machinery alignment. Accurate measurement record keeping, and detailed notes are of the utmost importance.

Must be able to work with other trade positions (Instrumentation group, Electrical group, Scaffolding group, etc.) as well as the Operations Team and properly schedule them into the combined effort project.
