Overview
You will work with a passionate and deadline driven marketing team learn about the processes of marketing professionals in the AEC industry.
Responsibilities
- Be exposed to various aspects of marketing for an engineering professional services firm, including marketing research, planning, strategy, collateral development, proposal/presentation preparation, and promotional activities
- Work with marketing directors/coordinators to gain an understanding of project pursuit evolution from identifying opportunities to winning work
- Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related software
- Apply technical skills to meet project needs and solve problems
- Assist with special marketing projects under the guidance of a marketing director
Qualifications
- Be currently enrolled as a SOPHOMORE or JUNIOR working towards a marketing, communications, or English degree or other relevant field or have recently graduated in one of these fields
- Have a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office suite applications
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on persuasive writing and crafting graphics that convey technical information simply
- Be a critical thinker who is detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Be passionate about learning new and challenging skills and have a demonstrated drive to achieve goals
- Be a strong team player who flourishes in a collaborative environment and takes ownership in the work you do
