Sr. Learning Management System

Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist to join the team at Smartsheet University. As a key member of the fast-paced and high-volume SmartU team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the growth and scalability of the training program. This position involves a deep understanding of educational technology, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver exceptional online learning experiences.
About the Role:
- Responsible for daily administration of the Skilljar LMS, including site design, content implementation, report generation, user role configuration, and system audits.
- Act as a subject matter expert on learning system configurations and integrations, maintaining optimal performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and educational technologies, implementing enhancements regularly.
- Set technical standards for the LMS and related systems, including new implementations.
- Manage all LMS inquiries, provide user support, and address system issues.
- Collaborate with teams to structure and implement courses, certifications, and promote growth of Smartsheet University.
- Keep learning system documentation up to date for reference and troubleshooting.
- Analyze usage trends and provide recommendations to optimize systems.
- Handle user management processes to improve access to Smartsheet University.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of LMS Administration experience in a SaaS company environment.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with JavaScript knowledge as a plus.
- Experience in enterprise application integrations.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
