Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, seeks an Agriculture Extension Associate. This position will assist in Forestry and Natural Resources Extension activities, including, but not limited to:
  • conducting forestry programming aimed at preparing forest landowners for future management challenges
  • collecting landowner/forester information and interpreting the information to better align resources
  • preparation, and submission of manuscripts for peer-reviewed Extension and research journals,
  • writing reports
  • oversight and coordination of activities with collaborators
  • providing support to others working on aligned projects
  • performing other tasks as they arise
The Extension Associate will participate in extension and outreach activities and participate in professional development activities, as well as attend relevant and agreed-upon scientific and outreach conferences.

This is a grant-funded, two-year position renewed annually.
