Duties
  • You will serve as Director of the Public Affairs Office, USAG-HI with responsibility for formulating the strategic public affairs program for the command and reviewing and evaluating the tactical execution of the public affairs program.
  • You will provide public affairs assistance for numerous DOD and other government agencies/activities tenant on USAG-HI installations.
  • You will maintain a continual awareness of changes to the public affairs needs of the command required by or from unexpected public reaction to a particular training program or installation initiative, incident or event.
  • You will develop and coordinates policy statements, regulations, communications plans, strategies and procedures pertaining to the various aspects of the public affairs program for implementation.
  • You will formulate the strategic public affairs program for the command based on an analysis of requirements of higher echelon and needs of the command.
